About Laiko

It breaks my heart to do this, but after working with him for over a year, I believe my lifestyle/home is not the best fit for Laiko. I was misled by his breeder and discovered he has really bad anxiety and was probably never properly socialized. Despite this, he is the SWEETEST boy -- he is literally the perfect dog whenever he's able to relax. He has had professional training and is currently on medication for his anxiety. He's come a very long way and is no longer as reactive to people and other dogs. He really loves cats and is best friends with mine, lol. My life is becoming increasingly more hectic, and Laiko has a hard time coping with even tiny changes. I just want him to be happy, and I think he'd really flourish with someone whose life is more stable/predictable than mine -- retirees, homebodies, etc. When he isn't anxious, he is such a gentleman in the house. He is non-destructive and mostly just sleeps. He loves his crate/pen and chew/food toys. Please let me know if you have any questions about him or if you're interested in him.
