Hi! I'm Penny. Important question for you: Whatcha doin'? And can I come too? See, I didn't always used to be this way. I came from a hoarding situation where there were dozens and dozens of dogs running around everywhere. Back then, humans just weren't really my thing. I had plenty of dog friends so honestly I wasn't too worried about people. But then I started spending more time with these humans and slowly realized something... they're actually kinda great. They give me snacks, buy me toys, take me on adventures, and tell me I'm a good girl. Not a bad deal if you ask me. Now I've become much more confident, and I really like hanging out with my people. I'm basically your little sidekick who wants to follow you around and see what's going on. Walk? I'm in. Adventure? Count me in. Sitting in the yard doing absolutely nothing? Sounds perfect, I'd still like to participate! I'm not really a big cuddler or hugger, but I still love the companionship. I'm the kind of girl who wants to be nearby, keeping you company and making sure I don't miss out on anything important. I'm smart, loyal, and I get along well with other dogs too. I think having a canine buddy around would be pretty fun! Now... I should probably mention one tiny little thing. I may have a slight adventurous streak. Some people use the term 'escape artist.' Personally, I prefer 'independent explorer.' So I'll need a secure setup or supervision outside because sometimes I get curious and think I should investigate the world. I've come a long way, and I think I'm ready for a family of my own! Could that be you?
