Name: Dakota Breed: Purebred Queensland Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) Age: 2 Weight: 42lbs Location: Stillwater, OK & Wichita, KS areas 'Hey, my name is Dakota, which in Siouan means 'friend' (i think it accurately describes me, so does my owner). I am so friendly, energetic, loyal, and love to play and run! I love people and want to be just out of arms reach of them all the time. Whether im outside, sleeping in the bed, or snuggled on the couch, I am on alert and watching my herd at all times! I am crate-trained, housetrained, and have graduated from basic training. I am up-to-date on my rabies shot and I'm also neutered! I am happiest when I have lots of space to run free, have someone or something to play with, and have a job to do. I maybe am not the best dog for first-time dog owners or one without a yard. But, if you know anything about us heelers, that shouldnt be a surprise. If you know how to handle me and my big ole attitude, I will be the most loyal 4-legged friend you've ever had. I would LOVE to join a family who can devote the attention and exercise to me or one that has a big yard, some land, or a ranch. I know I would just LOVE to chase some cows around.'
