About Blue

Meet Blue: A Gentle Soul Deserving of a Soft Landing At 9 years young, Blue has been through more in the last few months than most dogs experience in a lifetime. Through no fault of his own, this sweet, older gentleman found himself displaced from his home after a rambunctious toddler made indoor life too chaotic, resulting in accidental topples. To keep everyone safe, Blue was moved to the garage, but his family knew this 'gentle soul' deserved better. Blue has truly been through the mill. Following a case of necrotic tissue, he had to have his tail amputated, which has he healed from beautifully. Now he has a 'docked' tail! Blue is active, acts very healthy, and is not on any medications. Why Adopt Blue? Gentle Nature: He has never shown an ounce of aggression. Kid & Dog Friendly: Despite his rocky experience with a toddler, Blue does well with other dogs and kids. He just needs a home with a calmer vibe. The Perfect Companion: He is looking for a warm spot on a soft sofa and a family to love him for his remaining years. He is house broken and does well on a leash.
