About Freya

I am needing help rehoming my dog, Freya. Due to an upcoming move from a house into a townhouse, I no longer feel I can safely or appropriately manage her needs and behavior. Freya is very bonded to women and tends to do best with female handlers. She can warm up to men, but it takes time and patience. She is fearful/reactive toward certain things, especially hats, and can become defensive when uncomfortable. She has been described as aggressive/reactive, so she would need an experienced adopter or rescue familiar with behavioral dogs and slow introductions. I want to be fully transparent so she can be placed in the right environment for success. This is a very difficult decision, but I want to do what is safest and best for her long term.
