About Pearl

Pearl is the sweetest girl ever. She is so goofy and jumps like a little kangaroo when she sees people she knows. She is the perfect cuddle bug on the couch or will go on runs, she's truly up for anything. She really likes to give her paw to people she loves, so they can hold her little hand while she sits. Pearl is happy to laze around all day or to go on runs and hikes! She will chill and cuddle when its time to watch a movie, and then be up for playing or a game of fetch whenever anyone wants! She loves playing tug, and she loves playing catch me (though her recall is pretty good) She also loves to train! shes so smart, and knows a bunch of commands, and is very food motivated Pearl enjoys playing, training, and getting cuddles the most! She loves to hike and to chew on chew toys alot. She is okay being crated, and ive had to leave her at home for 8-10 hours before, and she was totally fine. She settles really well. A home with someone who is experienced with dogs. She has some reactivity, but is perfect when she trusts who is on the other end of the leash. Ideally a single dog household. Ive never seen her with a cat, so i dont know how she is with one. I think she would need to be kept seperate from small pets (rabbits, hamsters), but she would not go out of her way to get them out of their cage. She would be okay with older kids, but not younger ones. She doesnt like it when children run at her in the park. Pearl is trained to sit, stay, down, heel, hi-5, touch, paw (she loves paw), and come! she is completely house trained. She does have some fear based reactivity when it comes to people. I can walk her fine on leash in a city street, walking by dogs/people because she trusts me. but if a new person corners her or rushes her, she will growl and snap. But after she is introduced to someone, she loves them and is ok with them! She is up to date on all her core vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. She doesnt have any medical conditions.
