About Pluto

Pluto is a friendly, high energy dog who we adopted in August 2025. He is good with both dogs and humans and is always excited to meet new people. We love Pluto and want him to love us but we have been struggling with his guarding behavior since January 2026. It is particularly severe in our home. Where his anxiousness and work based mentality has led to aggression with my wife and I over high value items. We have experienced increased snapping and biting and although we have done training, at doggy day care and at home, we feel he would be better suited in another home. We have a newborn at home and although he has not been aggressive to her or our cats, we are not comfortable taking a chance with possible issues when she starts crawling and walking. I know in the right situation, Pluto will be a great dog and wonderful companion. It breaks my heart that that may not happen with us but we want to what is right for him and our family.
