About Icarus

Icarus is on a deadline - he needs placement by Wednesday, May 13th at 4 PM. Meet Icarus (A288219) - a 3 yr old sweet, smart boy who somehow still believes his person is out there. Spend just a few moments with Icarus, and he'll make one thing very clear: he knows we'll be fast friends. Whether he's leaning in for affection, showing off his gentle manners while taking treats, or happily walking by your side on leash, Icarus has a way of making everyone he meets fall for him. But behind that loving heart is a dog who is struggling deeply in the shelter. The constant stress of kennel life has taken such a hard toll on Icarus - pacing, spinning, injuring himself, losing weight, and trying so desperately to cope that he has hurt himself in the process.
