SEEKING A HOME FOR BLUE Hello, We are seeking help for a 6-year-old pit bull mix named GBlue due to a serious medical situation in our home (Parkinson's disease). We want to be fully transparent so she can be placed safely: �� She is strongly bonded to her owner but wary of others �� She displays guarding behavior at the door (growling when someone enters) although she has never bitten nor escalated beyond growling. �� She has a high prey drive and has killed ferel cats �� She is not fully trained (training was started but not completed) She can be handled by experienced individuals and is capable of de-escalating with calm, structured interaction, but she is not suitable for a beginner home. We are willing to keep her in the home for a limited amount time (not over 1 month) while placement is arranged, if needed. We are hoping for guidance, foster placement, or intake if you have a behavior-experienced foster available. Thank-you for considering her.
