She was extremely skinny, covered in fleas and ticks, and we quickly noticed she was missing part of her back hind paw. But despite everything she had been through, Chocolate Chip never stopped protecting her babies. Even more amazing - she trusted us enough to come with us so we could give her the second chance she so deeply deserves. �%9D%A4��%8F Chocolate Chip is sweet, loving, and slowly learning how to trust and feel safe again. Her back paw is severed, so she will be a tripod, but she doesn't let that slow her down one bit. She still gets around great and continues proving every day what a resilient, incredible girl she is.
