About Dulce

This is Dulce, a sweet, yet shy 7 year old terrier mix with a penchant for homemade food and treats. She currently weighs at 19 lbs, bit on the thick side, despite her small stature. Dulce was formally adopted at the Sacramento SPCA in early summer 2019, soon after the passing of the previous eldest dog, Sweety. She proved to be spiritually similar to Sweety in more ways than one. Personality-wise, she is quite timid in the presence of strangers unless appealed with a treat. Walking one or twice a day is enough to keep satisfied and free from boredom. Snuggling is one of her favorite pasttimes, especially whenever she cozies up to friendly people when watching TV or at the foot of the bed when sleeping. Despite currently being the youngest and living with 2 other dogs, she strives to be dominant in regards to begging for attention and barking to alert acitivity at the front door. With time and patience, she has proved to be loyal and affectionate as she is always close by.
