Kahla is an absolute sweetheart first and foremost. She has a wonderful temperament and is great with both adults and children. She has been raised around a maltipoo and every now and then my grandcats visit and she is fine with them too. She is very high energy. We have a 1/4 acre fenced in and it is not enough. She got out one time and ran for almost two miles in a single breath without pause. She would do wonderful in a more rural area with acreage to run. She loves to tree small animals and has gone hunting with my son and picked up extremely easily. She knows all basic commands and is completely house trained as well. She does like to dig and she is a known sock thief. I believe she is jealous of the new grandbaby as we have found multiple binkies and things in her bed :) she has a fierce sense of smell. Our biggest issue is she continues to exhume the grave of our beloved family bulldog that passed last year and it has been traumatic to see the least. No matter what we do, she finds a way. I'm sure this could prove useful in other scenarios but not this one. She acts more like her cattle dog side than German shepherd 200%. She is as big as she will get as she has been this size for about 6months straight, maybe about 50lbs if that. I am 5'4' and she comes just above my knee. She will be an amazing dog for some lovely family I do not believe she is the right fit for us.
