About Jason

Jason is a gentle soul who's come a long way since arriving at the shelter severely underweight. He was wearing a collar, but sadly no one ever came looking for him. Jason has been steadily and healthily gaining weight ever since - and his sweet personality has shined through more every day. Jason is a calm, easygoing boy with a low-to-medium energy level. He walks nicely on a leash, and he's happy to spend his time independently trotting around, sniffing, and taking in the world around him. He's treat motivated, takes snacks gently from your hand, and already knows how to sit on command. As sweet as he is affection doesn't hold his attention for long - he's perfectly content to do his own thing. He's easygoing and never needy. This independent boy is looking for a home where he can continue to thrive and finally get the loving home he deserves.
