Meet Bud - The Ultimate House Hippo Boxer / Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix �'ۢ 1 Year Old Bud is the kind of dog who's been through more than most his age, and it shows in the best ways. At just one year old, this bully breed mix has spent much of his life in a shelter environment, learning how to navigate the world as it came to him. Because of that, he can be a little aloof when meeting new people. He likes to take things in at his own pace, observe, and decide when he feels safe. But once he does, his bond is deep, loyal, and incredibly special. Bud truly shines around other dogs. He's social, comfortable, and seems to find confidence in having a canine companion by his side. He would likely do best in a home with another friendly, well-balanced dog to help him continue building confidence and show him the ropes of home life. He's still learning about new environments, new people, and all the things that come with being part of a family, so he'll need a patient home that understands he may take a little time to fully settle in. He's not a dog who will rush into everything, but he is a dog who will give his whole heart once he feels secure.
