About Skeeter

Looking to rehome our Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix. She will be 1 year old on July 1st and is approximately 95% Belgian Malinois and 5% German Shepherd. She is very high energy, loves to play, and can be extremely sweet and affectionate. She does well with kids, adults, and other dogs overall. She has completed one month of professional training and is smart and eager to learn. She would do best in an active home with someone familiar with working breeds or willing to continue training. Due to her prey drive, she is not recommended for homes with small animals such as chickens, rabbits, or other farm animals unless additional specialized training is pursued. One thing to note is she can become irritated if someone grabs her collar/neck area unexpectedly, so she would do best with proper handling and continued structure/training. We want to find her the right home where she can thrive and get the attention, exercise, and guidance she needs.
