I'm Amir. Dreamy Eyes, Bright Mind, and I Like to Know What's Going On. I'm currently in California, but my bags are packed, I'm ready to travel to my new home. Where are you? Are you my new family? I'll travel to you! I'm 1 year and 10 months old. Medium size. Black and white coat with striking blue eyes that tend to stop people mid-sentence. I'm neutered, up to date on my shots, and ready to move into something more stable. I'm not a background dog. I notice things. I watch. I check in. If you're doing something, I'm interested. Not in a chaotic way, just present. Aware. Engaged. I've got that Husky wiring. Smart, curious, a little independent, but still very connected to my person once I know where I fit. I'm not here to sit quietly all day with nothing to do. I want interaction. Walks that mean something. A routine I can understand. I'm still learning the home basics. Things like structure, expectations, what's allowed and what isn't. I'm at a great age for it. I just need someone consistent who follows through. My experience with kids, all dogs (I like the ones I've met so far), and cats is still unknown, so I'll need proper introductions and someone who takes the time to set me up right. The right home for me is one that's steady and engaged. Someone who enjoys a dog that thinks, pays attention, and wants to be included in real life, not just left to figure it out alone. What you'll notice first is my sweetness. What you'll appreciate over time is how present I am. I'm not complicated. I just need direction, connection, and a place that sticks.
