We rescued Brody from the shelter about 5 years ago. We noticed some aggressive tendencies, when we would go on walks and he would see other dogs. He would start barking uncontrollably and wanted to get off his leash. We got a trainer and worked with him and were able to get it under control. He has to meet other dogs in a controlled environment and wearing a muzzle so he does not try to snap.We have never noticed issues with other adults or older kids. We have a 15 month old daughter and we haven't had any issues until recently. She was getting off the bed and she touched him and he did not like it and he snapped at her. He got her just underneath her eye. We understand that kids and dogs need boundaries and space. He typically keeps to himself and stays away from her But we have thought it about it for a couple of weeks and feel it is best for him to be in a home with no little kids and where he can get more attention. He is very snuggly and loves to be in between your legs under a blanket. He loves being inside more than outside, on the couch under a bunch of blankets. We feel he would do best in a home with older and no other pets.
