About Opie

Opie is a neutered male Chihuahua mix. He's approximately 9 years old. No known health issues. He gets along well with other dogs and fairly tolerant of kids. He will nip if handled roughly. He's accustomed to wearing a belly band while inside- he has been known to mark on occasion. He sleeps in a large crate and seems to enjoy his own private space now and then. We also have another female Havapoo that he's been raised with and they are bonded- they do not have to be kept together, but it would be great if they could stay together. He lives being cuddled and would love to be a lap dog. He likes to ride, take walks and play with chew/ squeak toys. We've had him since he was young. Our lives have had a big change. We now have a five year old boy that is rambunctious and gets too rough. Opie has nipped him over it- nothing serious or bad- just standing his ground. He's good to let us know when he needs to go outside and he is housebroken, but as I mentioned he will on occasion mark things- thus the belly bands.
