LAS VEGAS, NV- BUT SOME TRANSPORT MAY BE AVAILABLE TO S CAL SUPER SWEET SENIOR CHOW GIRL SAVED FROM EUTHANASIA BY A GOOD SAMARITAIN, NOW IN NEED OF A LOVING HOME or FOSTER! KIM IS AFFECTIONATE AND SWEET' WITH PEOPLE, BUT NOT DOING WELL W/OTHER DOGS in NEW HOME AFTER BEING ATTACKED! Adorable Kim was found as a stray and brought to a high kill shelter where she was said to be 10 years young and approximately 62 lbs. While she is now healthy and healed, she sadly ended up on the euthanasia list after she was attacked by another dog in the playyard who dragged her and caused wounds to her face and resulting her body having to be shaved to look for wounds and treat her. A good samaritain saved her on her final day, and described Kim as 'soooooo sweet'. This home ideally hoped to integrate her into their pack of other dogs since the shelter found she was 'coexisting peacefully with relaxed dogs' and even noted after the attack 'Kim was moved to the side yard with a group of calm dogs, where she napped in the sun. She kept to herself as much as possible, but was able to coexist nicely with other calm dogs.' However, perhaps due to the trauma, Kim has gotten into several fights with another dog in the home, and it has become increasingly difficult to keep her separated from all the other dogs. For the safety of all. the home is now seeking a foster or permanent home who has no other dogs to avoid future problems and where Kim will feel safe. As the only dog, Kim is extremely affectionate and loves to be pet and cuddled. She is also great on a leash, and will make a wonderful companion.
