About Scooby

Scooby is a 6-month-old, 36-pound pup with a big heart. He's fully vaccinated, neutered, and up to date on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention-ready to start his next chapter with a forever family. Scooby already knows basic commands like sit, down, and wait, and he's eager to keep learning. He's incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle, happiest when he's close to his person. Loyal by nature, Scooby forms strong bonds and will always keep a watchful eye on the people he loves. Like many young dogs, Scooby has plenty of energy and would thrive in a home that can give him regular exercise and playtime. He does best with a routine that includes frequent bathroom breaks and opportunities to burn off that puppy energy. Scooby also experiences some separation anxiety, so he'll need a patient and understanding home. He's comfortable resting in a crate as long as someone is nearby, and with time, consistency, and reassurance, he has the potential to grow more confident on his own. He was found outside during freezing temperatures in January, and despite that rough start, he's proven to be a loving, resilient companion who just wants to feel safe and secure. If you're looking for a devoted, affectionate dog and are ready to give him the structure and reassurance he needs, Scooby could be the perfect addition to your home. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
