About Callie

HELP - Urgent Placement Needed Callie is a 1-year-old dog who had a difficult start in life. I adopted her at 3 months old from a shelter, and within just three days she became seriously ill with parvo. She had not received any vaccinations prior to adoption. I treated her at home, and she thankfully made a full recovery. Since then, Callie has shown increasing aggression. She has bitten three adults, with the two most recent incidents occurring within the past two weeks. I do not believe Callie is beyond help or needs to be euthanized. However, she will require a very specific, experienced home-likely one without children and with someone who has the time and skill to work through behavioral challenges. At this point, she is a safety risk that I can no longer manage within my household. I'm asking for help finding her the right environment where she has a chance to succeed.
