Nicodemus ('Nico') is a handsome 2-year-old domestic short hair with a unique fawn, Siamese-toned coat and subtle tabby accents. True to his barn cat nature, Nico is very shy and prefers to keep his distance from people, but he is a loyal and steady presence once he finds a place where he feels safe, well-fed, and comfortable. He thrives in the company of other cats and would make a wonderful companion to an existing barn cat or small colony, happily sharing sunny napping spots and quiet outdoor adventures. Nico enjoys lounging in warm patches of sunlight and keeping a watchful eye on his surroundings-he's well-suited to life as a mouser or 'guardian' of a barn or outbuilding. While he's not seeking human affection, he does best in a caring outdoor home where his needs are met and he's given the freedom to roam.
