About SNOW

Adoption Fee: $350
Chihuahua
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

SNOW is an 8-year-old, 6-pound Chihuahua surrendered to us because her family had to move into housing where they were not allowed to have a dog. She is a sweet, easy little companion who would likely fit in almost anywhere as long as she has love, attention, and lap time. SNOW is the perfect little lap dog looking for a person or family ready to give her a soft place to land and a lap to call her own. She is a happy, sweet little girl who gets excited to see her people and wants nothing more than to be close to them. She is happiest right by your side and will snuggle close wherever you land. SNOW has done great with the older dogs in her foster home, ranging from 4 pounds to 40 pounds. She would be fine in a home with other dogs or as an only. We do not know how she will be with cats or kids, although we were told that she slept with her prior family's daughter. SNOW is housebroken and will use a potty pad inside if she cannot go out. She loves her carrier and if you put her carrier on the ground, she will climb right in by herself. She will hang out in an open crate while you are gone, but when you are home, she wants to be with you. We have not tested her on a leash and would prefer a fenced yard. At night, SNOW sleeps in the big bed with her foster parents, snuggled right in the middle with the other dogs. SNOW is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. She also had a dental and lost all of her top teeth, but that doesn't slow her down at all! *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review.
