About Cyrus

Meet Cyrus! This 4 yr old is a total sweetheart! He was adopted from a NY rescue to people in Philly. His 'family' decided they didn't want him after all and tied him up outside the PSPCA one night. Lovely, just lovely. He was transferred to ACCT who contacted us when his original rescue didn't take him back. We honestly haven't seen a nicer boy than this guy. He gently and politely allowed all vetting today. Nails, blood work, everything. We found out his original family had a teenager with autism who was non-verbal, but screamed a lot when frustrated. Cyrus was both accepting and tolerant of the ongoing behavior of this child. That's a testimony to his temperament in my opinion. Cyrus can co-exist with another dog but does not prefer playing with them. A sniff, then goes his own way. kind of a live and let live approach. NO cats or small animals for this guy!
