
[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Mia is currently experiencing a #DoubleWhammy at the shelter, she is quickly approaching an entire year waiting for adoption or rescue, and recently started experiencing seizures at the shelter :O Mia arrived to the shelter on 5/15/25, in July of 2025 she got to enjoy a temporary foster home during the summer for a few months with no issues and returned before Fall where she has been waiting for a place to call home. Recently, Mia was observed having a seizure in her kennel and a subsequent episode after she was admitted to the shelter's medical ward. While the shelter has been attempting to manage Mia's new medical condition with medication, they do not have the resources to properly observe Mia frequently enough and manage the amount of care needed.
