About Kaylani

Meet sweetheart Kaylani! She is a 5 years old female Hound/Mix who weighs 71 pounds. This lovely girl is sure to be someone's dream companion. Kaylani came to us with some health challenges, but she's now hale, hearty, and ready to find her forever home. Her foster mom has been sharing glowing reports about this sweet, easygoing girl. Kaylani has excellent house manners-she appears to be house trained, takes treats politely, and loves to stay close by, happily supervising all your daily routines. When it's time to rest, she'll tuck herself into her crate like a pro, though she'd never say no to snuggling up in bed with you if invited. She walks nicely on leash and enjoys spending quiet moments gazing out the screen door, watching the world go by. She's generally a quiet girl but if she does bark, she is very attentive to your request for quiet. Kaylani also has a playful side-she's a champion at fetch, she loves toys and soft stuffies, and she's always up for a fun game of tug. She would enjoy a yard where she can stretch her legs, taking long walks, and just about any dog-friendly activity you have in mind. More than anything, she wants to be near her people, included as a true member of the family, where she can share her gentle, loving spirit every day.
