Likes & Dislikes: Meet your next adventure buddy This handsome, high-energy pup is equal parts athlete and sweetheart. He lives for walks and absolutely thrives when he has room to run, making him a perfect match for someone who loves the outdoors as much as he does. He's just starting to discover the joy of toys-right now, nylabones and soft stuffed toys are at the top of his list-and it's been a delight watching his playful side come out. At his core, he's incredibly gentle, affectionate, and eager for connection. He adores attention and is wonderfully tolerant-you can handle his paws, ears, or scoop him up, and he's perfectly content as long as he's getting love in return. He also does great in a crate and will even tuck himself in when he's ready to relax. He's currently living with a foster dog sibling and enjoys the companionship, but he'll truly shine as the only dog in the home where he can focus and succeed in his training. He's a bit of a 'door darter' and will need some guidance on house manners and obedience, but he's already showing promise-he'll come when called and is eager to learn with the right person by his side. Outside is his happy place. He may try his paw at digging and testing any weaknesses in your fence, so some supervision will help keep him on track while he explores. He can also jump a 4 ft fence. He doesn't show interest in cats but may not be the best fit for homes with smaller animals. He's not food-obsessed (no begging at the table!), has zero food or toy aggression, and is easygoing around mealtime-though he may need a little help learning about personal space when you're eating. He can be a bit shy around men at first, but with patience and kindness, he warms up and reveals his loving nature. With a little structure and continued training, this loyal, athletic, and big-hearted boy has all the makings of an incredible lifelong companion. If you're looking for a devoted partner for walks, runs, and cozy downtime, he might just be your perfect match City and State Fostering in.
