About Tommy

Meet Tommy Pickles ��%90 ���� This boy was saved from euthanasia at a rural TN shelter and is thankful to be alive. He is in a short term foster home and must leave as she has male dogs in the home which is not a good match for Tommy. Tommy Pickles is a sweet, gentle boy about 1 year year old looking for his forever home. He's incredibly polite-no jumping, potty trained, and happy to relax in his dog bed (unless he's invited onto the couch ���S). Tommy does best with submissive dogs and has done wonderfully with the female dogs in his foster home. He's not a fan of being challenged and will stand his ground, so he'd thrive in a home that understands his boundaries. He should not be placed with very small animals or small children. He spent his first year crated, which led to some crate anxiety, but the good news is-he doesn't need one at all. He's perfectly content being out and part of the home. Tommy loves treats, loves food (softened meals are best due to dental needs), and is the perfect mix of couch companion and adventure buddy. Whether you're active or a homebody, he'll fit right in.
