Bentley is almost 2 years old. He is very playful and cuddly but is anxious and fearful of certain things. (Children, scooters, trash bins with wheels etc). Bentley would highly benefit from a professional trainer to help him through his fears and reactivity. He is a barker. He barks at unknown noises from outside the home and he barks at strangers or things he is scared of outside. He also has some leash frustration (ex. Going to the dog park and barking on the way there out of excitement). He does know basic commands (sit, paw, come, down, up, etc.) He requires someone with patience and understanding of his fears. He is currently on fluoxetine for anxiety but it doesn't seem to quite help yet. The meds with training might have a higher success rate. He is a picky eater so he typically eats once a day, he is offered food twice. He loves treats of course! He does very well at the vet and grooming. He is not a fan of car rides, I think because of the anxiety + car sickness. Something else to possibly work through training and meds as well. I hope to find him a home and owner that has the capability to give him what he needs and deserves.
