Ozzy (yes, named after Ozzy Osbourne and his eyeliner look) is a very sweet, smart and active 1 year old Red Australian Cattle Dog mix. He loves toys, laps, treats, giving lots of licks, lots of play time and loves outside play and walks. We rescued him from a 'drug home' that was infested in fleas and he had received not much care. He has thrived in his health since being in our home and is updated on his rabies vaccination and has been neutered. He has also become crate trained and passes out after play time, quite often in his crate. He loves being around our four cats and wants to play with them so much! But%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD'%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD|they just aren't having it. While he plays and jumps front to back and side to side, our cats just stare him down and it hurts his feelings! But he has never shown any aggression towards our cats or our other dog. He has been around smaller kids, but not very often. We haven't had any issues in that area, but when excited, he jumps trying to play. So that may need to be something to watch more closely. It deeply pains us as we are not able to keep Ozzy, because unfortunately, the one in our home who cares for him all day, doesn't have the best health, strength and stamina to give Ozzy the best that he deserves. While we were hoping to 'save' and care for Ozzy when we first came across him, it is just too much with Ozzy and with other animals that were already in the home. We just took on too much and it is not fair to Ozzy. He is so loving and wants to be with you to help or watch what you are doing, and he deserves a home that he can be all that he needs and more. He's such a love bug and truly believes that he is only 5 lbs and thinks that he fits on your lap so easily.
