About Petunia

Got her 2 weeks ago, I have a dog. Description read 'good with dogs' but is not. She tolerated mine at the beginning, I weaned her off her meds, now I'm getting to see her personality. She's spunky and I love it! She was on anxiety and depression meds. She doesn't need them, she's a sharpei mix and needs to be the only dog. She is a one human gal. My vet was not able to be examine her, she's up to date on vaccines. I cancelled her grooming appointment. I think her home should consist of the following: -someone who would keep her off her meds -walk her regularly -yard access (she doesn't scratch the door at my house because she has yard access) -no other pets or dogs -no children I think she leans anxious which leads to aggression. Behavioral training is recommended, I still think she should be the only dog. Someone kind and patient would be ideal for her. Help me, help her! I'm working on returning her to the original sanctuary but instead of just rehoming her, she needs rehabilitation.
