About KRATOS

Siberian Husky
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Sweet Kratos is in need of a new home urgently. BDRA is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charity that accepts no fees when helping individuals or other rescues. 100% of donations go directly to the care of the animals. If you'd like to help us continue our mission, please donate at: https://www.blinddogrescue.org/donate-1. Name: Kratos Age: DOB 1/5/18 Breed: Siberian Husky, 60 pounds Sex: Male (not neutered) Location: Logan County, West Virginia Sweet Kratos is in need of a new home urgently. Vet Info: Kratos is blind in one eye. He is not current with vaccinations, has not had a Heartworm test and does not have a microchip. Dog Info: Kratos needs a new home due to no fault of his own. His owner has had a big life change and is no longer in the position to take care of Kratos. Owner will be moving in about two months and must have a home for Kratos by then. Krato is an outdoor dog that is chained - tie outs are not strong enough to keep him safe. He is an outdoor dog because of an aggressive Rottweiler that he lives with. Kratos is housebroken and loves to be inside. He is good with most animals but he does show his prey drive with birds and reptiles. Kratos is not leash trained and he doesn't know any commands. He can live with cats if they are calm, but would do better in a cat free household because he loves to play with them and most cats don't enjoy that. Kratos is very energetic for an eight year old and actually has a cat as a best friend that snuggles him in his dog house every night. He is good with men, women and teenagers. His energy level is a little too much for small children. Kratos is not possessive with treats, toys or food. He has never shown any aggression to people or animals (other than chasing birds/reptiles). Kratos loves to run and play and especially getting attention from his family! **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them. These dogs are with their owners and are not in BDRA foster homes. We do our best to screen these dogs, but make no guarantees regarding the information posted.** Please email [email protected] if you are interested in this sweetheart. Please know that we will ask for a vet reference.
