Puzzles is a BIG dog who does not understand how big he is. He is a 100+ lb Lab/Saint Bernard mix, he will have short burst of lab energy followed immediately by just laying on the floor and not wanting to do anything until he thinks food will be involved. Puzzles loves going outside and running a perimeter around the backyard to ensure everything is safe. He barks at anyone he feels is getting too close to the house, which is everyone except our close neighbors. Puzzles would thrive in a home where he is the only dog, he does do well with our cat but I do not know how he would be with any other animals. He needs a big fence backyard and daily walks. Because of his size he is better with adults than he is with kids. Puzzles has recently become aggressive towards our other dog to the point that it is not longer safe to have them together. We need to have him rehomed quickly but since he now has a bite history our choices are limited. Puzzles is a rescue that we have had since he was young but he does have a history of abuse that I do not fully know. We would like this to be the last time he is rehomed, you would need to come into this with a full understanding of what it takes to care for and work with a large dog like Puzzles and be able to commit to his training and rehabilitation so that he can live a full and happy life. I unfortunately do not have the time to provide him with all the attention and training he needs, I do believe that with focused one on one attention and an environment he feels safe in he will do amazing. He is neutered but I am not sure if he is up to date on his vaccinations. He doesn't have many medical needs so we have not had to take him to the vet in awhile.
