Zephyr | 4yo Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie Mix High-Energy 'Lover Boy' with a Heart of Gold Zephyr is a smart, pint-sized bundle of energy who just wants to be wherever you are. A mix of Heeler, Border Collie, and Terrier, he has the intelligence of a working dog and the cuddly heart of a lap dog. He is incredibly affectionate and will literally melt the moment he is petted. Personality: Enthusiastic, goofy, and deeply loyal. He is voice-trained off-leash and highly food-motivated. While he can be a little shy and 'barky' at first, he quickly transitions into a devoted companion. Active Lifestyle: Zephyr loves dog parks, walks, and runs. He has high energy and needs a home that can provide the mental and physical exercise he craves. Dog/Cat Status: Excellent with cats and other dogs. He loves roughhousing and playing chase, making him a great sibling for another active dog. Special Quirks: Zephyr is a 'happy pee-er'-he gets so excited during cuddles that he may have small accidents, so he appreciates having a designated 'cuddle blanket' or a wrap while he learns to settle. Ideal Home: An active household with a yard. He is great with children once introduced. He hasn't had formal training but is very smart and eager to learn with a patient partner. These two are a bonded pair, they would love to complete your family. That said, they may do better being your bestie instead.
