About Buster

I'm Buster. Tall Legs, Big Smile, and I'll Meet You at the Pool. I'm currently in California, but my bags are packed, I'm ready to travel to my new home. Where are you? Are you my new family? I'll travel to you! I'm over 3 years old. Neutered. About 62 pounds. An Ibizan Hound mix with long legs, a lean build, and a face that's always a little curious about what you're doing. I was found as a stray and ended up in a shelter, but you wouldn't know it by how I act now. I'm friendly. I like people. I walk well on a leash and enjoy getting out, seeing things, and moving at a steady pace. I'm not all over the place. I'm present, aware, and easy to walk with. I like other dogs. I don't just tolerate them, I actually get happy watching them play. It's like I'm part of the fun even when I'm just standing there taking it in. Give me a chance and I'll join in too. And the pool? That's a yes. I'll step in, splash around, cool off, and look at you like this was your idea and I fully support it. I've got a playful side, but I'm not overwhelming. I balance it out. Move when it's time, relax when it's time. What I need now is simple. A home where I don't have to keep starting over. A person who enjoys a dog that's easy to be around, steady on walks, and happy to share life with you.
