About Parakeet

Looking for a new home for my almost 2-year-old parakeet, Taylor. Due to financial issues and not being able to provide her the environment she truly needs, I'm looking to find a loving, experienced, and knowledgeable home for her. She is healthy (last vet visit 4/17), social, and a very inquisitive bird with a unique personality. She loves to sit in her cage and watch television or listen to music and parakeet videos. I do not have other birds and unfortunately cannot let her out of her cage during the day due to my home not being safe for her to fly around. Taylor can sometimes be a little nippy if you put your hand in her cage, but she does not bite. I am looking for someone who can let her be the bird she deserves to be and will help her thrive. I am looking for someone who truly understands and respects this species, who is an experienced bird owner. Ideally, I would like someone who has their own indoor aviary, where Taylor can be around other parakeets and socialize. She will come with her flight cage, toys, food and treats. I do not want a breeder to take in Taylor. I want her to live her life as a beloved companion to her new owner. Please only reach out if you are experienced and serious. A rehoming fee applies. The price I have set for rehoming is fair and will not be changed. I live in Chinquapin, NC. She will only be placed in a responsible, permanent home. If you feel you can offer her the home she deserves, I would love to hear from you. NOTE: Please provide photos/video of your indoor aviary/bird room. As stated above, I want her to go to a good environment. Also, no other pets in the home please!
