About Brookie

Rescued the mother Toasty (17.6 lbs) 2 years prior, and father Biscuit (18.4 lbs) 5 months before birth. Biscuit was only 6.3 lbs at time of rescue and was unable to have surgery to be neutered, I waited a little too long and they had 9 puppies. I am not able to provide the attention and quality of life these beautiful dogs deserve. The biggest of 9 Chi-weenies, Brookie now at 18 weeks (126 days) has outgrown his mother Toasty in stature, although papa Biscuit has gotten chunkier since his rescue. Brookie was so named as when he was first born had looked like his lower half and upper half were two separate colors, one darker like a brownie and one lighter like a cookie. His personality is an easy going calm, a bit timid, and observant. He is gentle and has never played overly rough with us or his little sisters. He is a bit like a clumsy Clifford dog, still not used to how quickly he has grown up. He definitely craves more personal attention. He would probably be great with children as he is very gentle at playing with his littlest sister Kiwi, who is one-third his size, and lets her win in the cutest way by playing injured. He has not been vaccinated or neutered as I cannot afford to do that for 9 puppies. I will provide a new collar that will fit them at their current size with the name you prefer, a small unopened bag of the brand of puppy kibble they grew up eating and a few new toys they enjoyed playing with. Driving to you will require a non-refundable deposit of $0.70 per mile for my round trip. If I feel at any time the dog will not be a good fit for you, I will refund the purchase price. I refuse to use any third party transportation services. For the emotional reassurance of the dog family I am open to arrange a dog park meetup once a year so the parents can see that their puppies are all doing okay. I can recommend shampoo, ear cleaning, nail clipping, paw trimming, brushes, and vests to buy for the dog.
