About Memphis

Memphis is a very friendly, sensitive and shy boy. He is an AKC Miniature Longhair Dachshund born Oct 2021. He weighs about 14 lbs. He bonds fiercely with his Momma. He prefers woman, but will be friendly with a Guy as well. Good with kids, but I prefer to find him a home with older or no kids. He loves lounging on the couch and snuggling with you. He is crate trained, and will sleep in a crate silently or in your bed. If he is outside, he is running the yard, looking for lizards, and bugs. He wont stop running around until you bring him back in. He likes to swim, and will jump the in the first step in the pool if its hot outside. He rides fine in the car if he's in your lap, otherwise he will whine a little. He's easy to groom, and trim nails. He gets along with cats and dogs, he is the bottom of the food chain. He is a retied show dog, and has all his health testing, current on vaccines, and will be spayed prior to rehoming etc. This is a very well bred dog for a family to enjoy. We are in no hurry to place him, the new home must be perfect.
