Crate trained. Any known medical issues?: None Disclosed. Abuse/Neglect/Trauma History?: Lived kenneled her entire life prior to rescue. ENERGY LEVEL: High. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: Medium. Weighs 80 lbs. Currently on Diamond food. Good with car rides?: Yes. Socialized with: *people?: Unknown. *dogs?: Unknown. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): Yes. Loves: walks, sleeping in bed with her person, being near her person, and Milk Bones. Important Behavior Notes: Resource guarding present (food, toys, and crate). Has improved but still occurs, especially around her crate. Needs structure, consistency, and continued training to work through guarding behaviors. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: This breed is super intelligent. *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): Yes. *Good on a Leash?: Yes. *Lovable?: This breed is super lovable once they claim you as their person/family. *Eager and fast learner?: This breed is super fast learners when they are being committed to and worked with. Bite History?: No. NOTES FROM CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENT: Penny is such a sweet girl and a puppy at heart. She is eager to please if you are her person. She just needs someone who is patient and can train her with better resources than I can provide for her. She is very smart and picks up on things quickly. She is easy to fall in love with.' Re Homing because�'�|: Current Shepherd parent is not comfortable with the Resource Guarding around young children and does not want to risk any incidents. She does not have the time or resources to properly work through this behavior. Penny will be a great companion for the right person.
