[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Hi, I'm Ghost - a 6-year-old German Shepherd with a big heart and an even bigger spirit. I may be blind due to glaucoma, but don't let that fool you - I navigate the world in my own amazing way and am currently thriving in a foster home while I search for my forever seeing eye human. I'm smart as a whip and love to learn! I'm picking up voice cues like 'right,' 'left,' 'careful,' 'step,' and 'find it,' and I listen closely with my excellent hearing. I'm very food motivated (but polite in the kitchen!) and eager to please. I'm an active guy who loves walks, running, hiking, and especially cold weather - snowball fights are my favorite! I also enjoy relaxing outside, taking in all the sounds and smells around me. I'm loyal, affectionate, and a little mischievous in true Shepherd fashion - I love belly rubs, toys, and even playing soccer. I've mapped out my foster home well and can move around confidently, but I'll need a patient adopter to continue helping me feel secure. I can be reactive to other dogs and sensitive to sounds, so I'd do best as the only pet in a quiet, low-traffic home with a predictable routine. My dream home includes an active person, a fenced yard, and someone who understands and loves German Shepherds - especially one willing to see past my blindness and appreciate the incredible companion I am. I may not see you when you walk in'| but I promise I'll always know you're there - and I'll love you with everything I've got.
