��%90%BE Meet Crawdad Crawdad is the perfect mix of playful and easygoing. He's happy to romp around with his siblings, then settle in and just hang out. He's not as feisty as Ladybug, but he still has plenty of puppy energy and curiosity. This 8-week-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix weighs about 3 lbs and is expected to grow into that 12-15 lb range like his parents. He's got those signature Yoda ears that give him a look you won't forget. Crawdad is still learning everything about the world, so he is not crate or potty trained yet. His new family will need to guide him through all the basics with patience and consistency. A home where someone is around more often than not will help him succeed. He would do well with other dogs, big or small, as long as introductions are handled responsibly and everyone understands how delicate a puppy his size can be. Homes with children are welcome, but supervision is non-negotiable. One accidental drop can cause serious injury, so we're looking for families who will take that seriously. All kids must attend the meet and greet. Crawdad will be placed on a foster-to-adopt agreement until he is neutered by our veterinarian, and his adoption will be finalized at that time. Crawdad is a sweet, playful little guy ready to grow into whatever his future family shapes him to be. Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/ neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following: All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation. All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention. Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention.
