��%90%BE Meet Possum Possum is the biggest of the bunch right now at 3.7 lbs, but don't let that fool you-he's still a tiny baby with a soft, playful personality. He's a fun little guy who enjoys playing with his siblings but doesn't come in quite as hot as Ladybug. At 8 weeks old, this Chihuahua/Dachshund mix is expected to mature somewhere around 12-15 lbs based on his parents. He's got those adorable oversized Yoda ears that give him tons of personality right off the bat. Possum is not crate or potty trained yet, and that will be the responsibility of his new family. He'll need structure, routine, and someone home more often than not to help him learn the ropes. He's dog-friendly with both big and small dogs, but safety is key-especially with larger dogs. Proper introductions and supervision are a must to prevent accidental injury. Due to his size, homes with children will need to be mindful and hands-on. All kids must be present at the meet and greet so we can ensure it's a safe and appropriate match. Possum will be placed on a foster-to-adopt agreement until he is neutered by our veterinarian, and his adoption will be finalized at that time. Possum is a happy, playful puppy who's ready to be molded into a great companion with the right guidance. Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/ neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following: All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation. All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention. Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention.
