��%90%BE Meet Firefly Firefly is a sweet, playful little pup who brings a gentle energy to the group. She enjoys playtime and exploring, but she's not as bold or feisty as Ladybug-making her a great option for someone looking for a slightly softer personality. This 8-week-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix weighs about 3 lbs and is expected to stay in that 12-15 lb range when full grown. Her Yoda-style ears give her a one-of-a-kind look that perfectly matches her charm. Firefly is still a baby, so she is not crate or potty trained yet. Her future family will need to be ready to teach her everything from the ground up. A home where someone is around frequently will be ideal for potty training and general development. She does well with other dogs, big or small, but extra care should always be taken-especially with larger dogs-to avoid accidental injury. Because she is so small, any home with children will need to be very hands-on and attentive. Supervision is required, and all children must attend the meet and greet. Firefly will be placed on a foster-to-adopt agreement until she is spayed by our veterinarian, and her adoption will be finalized at that time. Firefly is a blank slate with a sweet nature, just waiting for a family to guide her into becoming a confident, well-loved companion. Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/ neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following: All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation. All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention. Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention.
