URGENT AT SAN BERNARDINO, CA ( S CAL)- HIGH KILL SHELTER- SAN BERNARDINO CITY SHELTER WHICH IS FULL - ID #A592388, 'GARNET' a 4 yr old, adorable and dog and people friendly female Chow/shepherd mix- NEEDS LOVING HOME, OR FOSTER AND RESCUE Help! This friendly female chow/shepherd mix, estimated to be 4 years old and 71 lbs was found as a stray with a male friend (A592387) and taken in by a good Samaritan. However, the landlord would not allow the dogs, and they were then brought to high kill San Bernardino city shelter and the two dogs were separated. The shelter told us'Based on the intake notes, she is friendly and walks well on a leash. She is currently kenneled with a female German Shepard.' The original finder also reported no issues. Garnet came available to adopt on 4/25 and has now meet her legal retention and can be sadly euthanized anytime in a very full shelter. The same goes for her friend who we have a separate post up for and looks similar. Therefore. if you are able to adopt either dog and provide a forever home, please contact the shelter directly and asap by calling (909) 998-4000 or using their listing link.
