Meet Willow, a beautiful Border Collie who's still learning that the world isn't as scary as it seems. She can be a little unsure in new environments and with new people, but with a little patience, you'll start to see her soften and settle in. Willow is very observant and thoughtful! She likes to take her time figuring things out before jumping in. Once she begins to feel comfortable, she shows a quieter, gentler side and starts to build a bond with her person. As a border collie, Willow is intelligent and will benefit from structure, routine, and enrichment. She's the kind of dog who will thrive with someone willing to guide her, work with her, and give her the time she needs to gain confidence. Puzzle toys, light training, and calm exposure to new things will go a long way in helping her succeed. Willow did test faint positive for heartworms. This is very manageable, and we're happy to talk through what treatment looks like and help guide her adopter through that process! * If you have other dogs, we require a meet and greet on our property *
