About LACEY

Lacey is a tiny, adorable terrier with a big ability to steal hearts. When she first arrived at the shelter, she was frightened and unsure of the world around her. With kindness and patience from the volunteers, she slowly blossomed into a happy little dog who loved walks, playtime, and spending time with her favorite people. After being adopted, Lacey discovered she loved her person so much that she became overly protective and would nip at visitors. Because of this, she has returned to the shelter, where she's understandably a little scared again. The good news is she's already beginning to warm up to the volunteers and show her sweet personality once more. Lacey is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will help her continue building confidence and gently teach her that new people aren't something to fear. With love, consistency, and positive guidance, this little girl has so much potential to be a wonderful, devoted companion.
