Jayber's Rescue Story Meet Jayber! Three years ago, this striking Bengal cat appeared on our doorstep, injured and starving. Despite his rough start, Jayber was incredibly friendly and quickly won our hearts. We rushed him to the emergency vet, but no owners could be found - he wasn't fixed or microchipped. As devoted cat lovers with four other cats, we welcomed Jayber into our family. After his wounds healed, he settled in and became an integral part of our household. Current Situation Over the years, Jayber's personality has truly blossomed. He is healthy, energetic, and gorgeous, displaying all the classic Bengal traits - athletic, adventurous, and playful. Jayber is wonderful with people and loves attention, but he's definitely an 'alpha' cat. He can be unpredictable with other cats, especially as our older cats prefer a calmer lifestyle. Jayber thrives on interaction and sometimes struggles to share space with less active or dominant cats. Ideal Home and Adopter Jayber would be happiest as the only cat, or paired with a young, active feline companion who can keep up with his energy. He needs an adopter experienced with active or alpha cats, someone who understands the Bengal personality and can provide plenty of enrichment, play, and affection. Jayber's quirks include a love for exploring, high-energy play sessions, and occasional 'talking' to his humans. He's best suited for a home where he'll get lots of attention and stimulation - think interactive toys, climbing spaces, and quality time with his people. If you're looking for a beautiful, engaging companion and have the know-how to handle a spirited Bengal, Jayber might be your perfect match. He deserves a home where he'll be loved, appreciated, and allowed to shine as the unique cat he is. He is neutered and approximately 4 years old. We keep him as an indoor cat but he loves outdoor times on catios. We are located in Phoenix.
