About Punkin Spice

Meet Punkin Spice�'�| middle name Karen ��ZĉϬ (because let's be honest-she has things to say.) No sugarcoating here-Punkin comes with a little sweetness, a little spice, and a whole lot of personality packed into 13 pounds. Punkin is a tiny cutie rocking a signature snaggletooth and the energy of a slightly grumpy old soul. We estimate she's around 7 years old, and she's got opinions about just about everything. The Sweet: Punkin bonds hard to her person-especially her favorite guy. She'll follow him from room to room like a loyal little shadow and is perfectly content sitting at his feet while he works. When the day is done? She expects her rightful place in Dad's lap for cuddles and a little playtime. She's housebroken, crate trained, does well on a leash, and is very food motivated (which makes her easier to work with than she'd like you to believe). The Spicy ��� ��%8F: Punkin is part loving sidekick, part tiny bodyguard. If she's on her person's lap, she will absolutely try to enforce a 'no one else allowed' policy. Personal space is non-negotiable in those moments-but she is correctable and responds well to guidance. The Sass: Not a fan of bigger dogs getting in her bubble-especially if they move too fast Doesn't want to share her food if another dog comes snooping (in multi-dog homes, feeding in a crate avoids any drama) Will bark at�'�| well�'�| anything she finds offensive (which could be a leaf, a noise, or just vibes), but will settle when told to 'shhhh' The Lifestyle: Punkin would do best with a man who is home more often than not and wants a tiny best friend by his side. She's not interested in being left outside alone-HELLOOOOO-she wants to be where her people are. A fenced yard is preferred, but not required if she's getting regular leash walks (which she enjoys!). The Bonus Perks: The 'spare human' in the home (her words, not ours) is occasionally granted the honor of giving belly rubs. Consider it a privilege. Punkin Spice is cute as a button and fully aware of it. She's got quirks, attitude, and a whole lot of personality-and her foster family has already fallen for every bit of it. Now we just need to find the right home that will love her exactly as she is�'�| sass, spice, and all. ���%A4 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/ neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following: All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation. All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention. Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention.
