Hello- my name is Maple! I was found with my friend Sandy trying to survive on the streets in Miami. I was so very scared and almost completely shut down when I first arrived here at Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue. With the help of the staff and volunteers, I've become more social and outgoing. I walk great on leash and love to cuddle and I have found I like to play with the toys when I'm in the play yard, too! I have been friendly with other dogs here at the rescue, so having a fur sibling would be fun I think. I am estimated at 2 years old and weigh about 17lbs- so perfect size for someone who travels. I appear to be a terrier mix- the rescue thinks they see maybe Border and Norfolk terrier? My $450 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, spay, deworming and preventatives while in our care, heartworm test (negative) and microchip.
