Mikey came into my care in November 2025, when his previous owner left him with me unexpectedly. Since I live in a second-floor apartment and working long hours, it has become difficult to fully meet all of Mikey's needs, especially the time, attention, and space he deserves. With an upcoming move, I will no longer be able to provide the care this loving boy needs, so I am hoping to find him a wonderful new home where he can truly thrive. Mikey is an affectionate companion who loves cozy naps and long walks, and he is still in great shape-able to walk up and down stairs with ease. He has had all of his shots and continues to do well for his age. He still has plenty of spirit left and would do best in a home with a backyard where he can explore, play, and enjoy the fresh air. Mikey would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, gentle, and loving dog to share their home and heart with. Mikey is a great little guy! He is smart, friendly, calm, well mannered, and easy going. All vet work is done and he is house trained. His new owner needs to have time to spend with him. We want his last years to be full of love and attention. He will be okay with another small dog of his age and activity level. Because he's calm and gentle we want him to have a fairly quiet home.
